Hippocampus, hippocampus utilizes and subverts the fishbowl as ecosystem. Two dried seahorses suspended in packaged air are lit by the ebbing blue glow of a tablet. The title refers to the small curved portion of the brain responsible for memory which shares a scientific name with and is reminiscent of the seahorse (Hippocampus). The tablet plays a segment of BBC's Blue Planet while David Attenborough quietly narrates about the receding coral reefs.
