Circadian Rhythms was a durational installation involving twelve plants, Roses of Jericho, arranged in a circle. Each day, one of these resurrection plants was watered causing it to open up, visually blooming, for about three days before closing again, cycling like a slow and gradual clock marking the passage of days. Circadian Rhythms was installed at the Church of St. Paul the Apostle adjacent to a large crucifix for the Lovely Wild organized by Openings Collective. The slow, almost imperceptible changes in the installation could only be experienced upon multiple visitations to the church, as in a pilgrimage.
